The bokeh and shallow depth of field works really well to naturally frame this image and you've captured the reflection in the eye really well which draws you in further. It can be difficult to compose an image with more than one subject in but you've nailed it here!

What a gorgeous capture! I love the warm colour palette which is consistent across the image and the separation from the subjects and the background is spot on, allowing us to appreciate every intricate detail on the wings and head. Be cautious when processing around the edges of your subjects.

I love the separation you've achieved here with the eye unobstructed and peering through the undergrowth. When photographing in this kind of light, high contrast scenes can be difficult because you risk losing detail in the shadows or blowing highlights so waiting for more muted conditions can be the best approach.

I love the sense of movement you've captured in this image, regardless of whether or not it was intended due to the low light. The bright surroundings really helps to isolate the subject and also ensure you maintain detail in the eyes and face.

Wide angle images of wildlife are highly effective and engaging but can be tricky at the best of times. I love how you've captured this and despite the bright ambient light, you've avoided any blown highlights or lost shadows and details.

Gulls are such heavily overlooked species when it comes to photography and yet you've shown here that it's possible to capture great images of them! Whilst I like the low key effect, I think increasing the exposure on the subject would be highly beneficial so we can see and appreciate the finer details.

You've shown the subject in context of the surroundings incredibly well here, with a spot on composition and a grungy, vintage feel applied in post processing which fits the feel and atmosphere of the image. I genuinely wouldn't change anything!

Underwater photography has its own set of challenges when it comes to exposures, composition and light but you've done fabulously here! There's great context in terms of the surrounding fish and habitat although if possible, I'd consider trying to straighten the horizon.

Photography in zoos or of captive animals can be tricky when it comes to clean backgrounds and foregrounds, but you've done fantastically here to achieve that! The separation from the foreground and background is spot on and were the jug not there, it could've been mistaken for a wild image.

You've captured fantastic detail on the fingers and claws here and I love the pose and behaviour. The warm colour palette is aesthetically pleasing but I would have loved to see the exposure increased along with slightly more depth of field so that the eyes were also crisp!

What incredible detail you've captured on those eyes and the separation from the subject and the dark background is incredible. It just goes to show that you don't need to spend thousands on dSLRs or mirrorless cameras to capture beautiful imagery.

The detail you've captured on this heron is truly fabulous, with each intricate feather and whisp standing out. The shallow depth of field helped to minimise any distraction from the background whilst ensuring the full bird is still in focus.

You can tell that this pooch has personality from this image and the atmosphere you've captured with the snow is truly brilliant. The red hues really pop from the image which both gives some context of the surrounding areas as well as drawing you into the main subject.

I love how the woodwork surrounding the bear acts as a natural frame and with the dark background he really pops from the image. The consistent colour palette is warm and aesthetically pleasing but I'd consider increasing the exposure on this image.

What a capture! I love the shape in the wings and the red on the bill pops so strongly from the image to draw you in and keep you fixated. The image works well with a square crop but would work in the original aspect ratio if the left of the image isn't messy or distracting.
