The bokeh from the background is so silky and aesthetically pleasing and works so well against the dark tones of this handsome moose. You've captured good action and behaviour here and I like the aspect ratio too as it compliments the pose and composition.

Crowd and
Expert winner

You've captured a great image here with wonderful asymmetry between the two subjects and I really love the colour coming from the tusks and the subtle greens in the background. Your choice of depth of field ensured that both elephants are in focus but the background is nice and smooth.

You've captured the action fabulously here with the fast shutter speed freezing the water droplets well. You've avoided any blown highlights on the egret despite the bright light and it also gives great separation between the subject and the surroundings.

I love the intricate detail you've captured on the eye and scales in this image. The shallow depth of field gives great separation from the background and the colour palette is very complimentary too. I like the very subtle motion blur on the tongue too.

I love the lighting on this image and the surroundings act like a natural frame for these two gorgeous cats. It can be difficult to get both subjects in focus without introducing too much detail in the background but I think it would've been worth it here to ensure the front cat was also sharp.

I like how the tree trunks act as a perfect natural frame for this handsome lion. The focus and depth of field is spot on but be cautious with your shutter speed being so slow as some motion blur can come from both yourself and the subject.

I love the separation you've created in this image with the high key backdrop and exposing to the right has allowed you to bring out all of the detail and colour in those beautiful eyes. The composition is spot on along with the focus and depth of field.

I love the low key feel to this image with a nice clean, black backdrop and gorgeous light on the whiskers and eyes. I like the centralised composition as it works well with the symmetry in the face and body.

The grass works so well to frame the eye with every strand complementing the image without obstructing the eye. I think the image could be enhanced even further with a slight increase to the contrast, which would enhance the fur detail too.

I love the expression on this gorgeous dog and how you've used a shallow depth of field to draw people into the eyes whilst not being distracted by the background which has some clutter and contrast and could've been a problem if in focus.

You've captured wonderful contrast and detail in the skin here by exposing to the left to create a low key image. I'd consider increasing the exposure ever so slightly whilst still maintaining a dark background and good contrast in the skin folds.

What a handsome bison! I love the shorter focal length used in order to give us a different perspective and the depth of field gives us context of the surroundings without being a distraction. The focus on the bison is absolutely spot on.

You've captured some gorgeous interaction between the cub and mum here and the slightly wider depth of field has ensured that both subjects are perfectly in focus. I love the warm colour palette and the image works really well in portrait orientation.

I really like the warm, pinky red hues in this image and whilst there's a lot of 'clutter' from the twigs in the background it isn't detrimental. I'd consider cropping in slightly from the left to get the subject to look into the frame a bit more.

I love how you've captured that shape in the ears and the warm hues on the fur work so well against the cool, frosty grass and backdrop. The composition is good due to the symmetry in the face and the eye contact.
