Who can resist a crisp, clean reflection? Not me. This is one of those occasions where placing the horizon in the middle enhances the image rather than detracts from the composition. The light on the landscape is lovely, picking out autumnal colours in the trees and reflecting them in the lake. That alone, along with the fountain, would have made for an adequate landscape image, but the addition of the hot air balloon just elevates the composition to a different level. The bright bold red of the balloon contrasts with the yellows and oranges of the trees and the blue of the sky, adding a much needed 'pop' to the landscape.
This is image really benefits from a strong leading line, in the form of the yellow road marking, moving straight down the centre of the image and leading the eye to the autumnal trees in the distance. I like that you've opted for a portrait orientation so we're focused on the yellow lines and the destination.. The light catching on the woodland is lovely, bringing out all the colours and contrasting with the deep grey and blue hues of the road. Nicely seen and captured.
I'm always happy to see when photographers attempt to shoot from a different perspective. Photography is, after all, a participatory sport and we shouldn't just rely on shooting from eye level. Your positioning here is what makes the image interesting, with the road acting as a leading line to the woodland scene beyond. The shallow depth of field in the foreground works well, with the road catching some of the light from the sun peaking through the trees. The processing works well, and this is one of the rare occasions where lens flare enhances the image.
I like the way this image pits man against nature. The rock formation alone has plenty to enjoy, with that low light catching, bringing out the textures and colour in contrast to the blue sky behind. However, the addition of the man adds a sense of scale, demonstrating the enormity of the rock in question. I like that the man appears to be dressed like a cowboy as it adds another dimension, and his outstretched arms just add a little something extra. Nicely done.
I like bold choices in landscape photography and shooting into a dramatic sunset such as this is certainly constitutes bold. The sky is alive with colour, enhanced by the shape of the clouds drifting across the the scene. This in turn is complimented by the boats, their masts standing vertical in opposition to the abstract nature of the sky. Dividing the two halves of the image is that exuberant sun, low on the horizon and covering the scene in glorious warm light! The whole scene is then reflected in the gentle ripples of the water below. I would recommend cropping the shoreline out of the image as it distracts from the reflection. Other than that, this is a fine example of how bold decisions with strong light can pay off.
I like your thinking with this image. The daisies in the foreground make for a nice lead in to the scene in the distance with a hint of the sunset visible and the headland silhouetted against the evening sky. There isn't much interest in the sky and I would be inclined to try a different crop, maybe a 8x10 to see if everything fitted in the frame a little better.
A nicely done long exposure seascape that does exactly what it says on the tin. You've used the craggy outcrop as an interesting foreground, leading the eye to the sea in the distance and the headland beyond. The long exposure technique has added some much needed interest to the sky, creating a narrative with the morning clouds. The little bit of warmth in the sky cuts through the predominantly blue hues and overall this works well.
I love the different layers to this image. At the top you have the cloudscape revealing just a little of the blue sky above, and in the middle there is the dark outline of a distant mountain range. However, the real magic of this image is in the foreground, with the wind catching on those grasses in the field, illuminated by the lovely sidelight. I love that you've used a (short) long exposure to add some movement to the grasses and really sell the fact that it's windy. Nicely seen and executed.
The power of a sunset near the ocean can be compelling and your image is a wonderful example of that. We're looking directly into the low sun, light flooding the scene, catching on the tide and wet sand. Above, the cloud is catching the warm tones of the setting sun in the form of deep orange hues spreading across the sky. A simple image that demonstrates the power and beauty of nature.
A classic seascape that utilises the technique of long exposure to add interest to the sea and the sky. The light in the foreground catching on the rocks is really rather lovely, and you've done a good job of shooting directly into the sun which can be tricky and cause unseemly lens flare.
I like the leading line that has been created by the natural archway leading out to sea, and the long exposure adds an element of narrative to the frame by way of the clouds moving fast across the sky. There is a little bit of noise in the shadows but nothing too distracting. A nice example of seascape photography.
This has the feel of album artwork and I could see it both as the front cover of a 90s rock band LP or as a film poster. The warm hues in the sky creates a lovely gradient of orange fading to pale blue at the top. I love that you've given room for those hues to breathe in the frame, contrasting with the darker tones of the grass below. The main focal point of the image is the barn, catching that low light and glowing with the colour of burnt orange. I love the little details of the tractor and farm paraphernalia surrounding the barn. A well seen, captured and composed image.
This is a classy landscape image that benefits from some strong side lighting and an elevated view point. I like that we're looking down on this idyllic enclave, a smattering of dwellings nestled amongst the trees. The greens and blues of the image work well, complimenting the water in the foreground and the mountains in the distance. Nicely seen, composed and captured.

There is a lot going on in this image. The steam from the springs is creating a marvellous atmosphere in the mid ground, and the water in the foreground is reflecting the deep oranges of the setting sun. The clouds are full of mood and interest, with that storm system making for some intriguing textures though the top half of the image. However, the thing that makes the image work for me is that single bolt of lightning pinging across the right of the frame. It adds even more drama to an already impressive scene. Well done for managing to capture such a moment.
Gosh, there is a lot going on in this scene. We have the forest in the foreground, and from our elevated position we're looking down on the river, roads and dwells below. The whole scene is surrounded by mountains rising up to meet the colourful clouds above. There seems to be a lot of noise, especially at the top of the frame, which may have come from over-processing the image, but that aside, this image has lots to enjoy and bags full of mood, thank you for sharing.
This image is all about the concept of man vs nature. On the face of it, this is ostensibly just an image of sunset, warm colours filling the sky and illuminating the cloud cover above, but the silhouette of the person on the paddle board elevates the image from mundane to interesting. Your positioning is perfect, giving preference to that big sky which in turn makes the person seem all the smaller in comparison. There is a small little dust spot that has crept through the editing stage that is a little distracting but other than that this a marvellous scene, well captured.
