This is a well seen shot. It is atmospheric and has a nostalgic, bygone feel to it - enhanced by the black and white conversion. Unfortunately, the falling rain resembles dust spots, and the sky looks a little bit mucky and distracting in my opinion.

Valley of Rocks is an imposing and interesting location. This is a nice viewpoint, but the sun's intensity is too great and beyond the capabilities of the camera's dynamic range - hence why highlight detail is lost. In this instance, the photographer ideally needed to wait until closer to sunset when the sun's position was lower and the light much softer.

This is a really engaging scene - nicely composed and boasting lovely layers and depth. The sky is quite washed-out, though, and this rather undermines the image. Film users should consider using a graduated neutral density filter to deal with contrast and restore highlight detail.

Lovely conditions and beautiful warmth in the sky. Icelandic churches are photogenic buildings and the silhouetted couple add lovely human interest to this photo. The composition maybe feels a little bit tight on the right hand side - I would prefer to see more breathing space.

This shot almost doesn't look real. In a world with Ai, we sadly all look at images more closely and critically should they appear too good to be true. In this instance, the light and conditions are wonderfully atmospheric. The water motion and rays of light create an almost otherworldly look. A well captured landscape.

These are lovely conditions - great sky and lovely reflections. But it's important to think and take time when taking photos. Prior to releasing the shutter, allow your eye to explore the frame and look for distractions. In this instance, there is a blurry object in the bottom left corner. And check that the horizon is straight. Even if you neglect to do these things in-camera, you can always refine your photos afterwards using an App or photo editing software.

What a lovely, moody seascape. I like the dark, dramatic sky and the warmth where the sun is breaking through the cloud near the horizon. The composition and exposure length are good, with the shutter speed being just long enough to generate texture and movement, but not so long that the sea has grown too flat or milky in appearance. A well captured shot.

What an epic sunrise - you don't see many skies better than this! The boats and marina make a nice subject, but I'm not keen on the rocks occupying the bottom right corner. I would crop a sliver off the bottom of this shot to create a cleaner result without any unnecessary distractions.

This is a wonderful travel image, boasting wonderful texture and colour. It is thoughtfully composed with the tourists on the right creating a neat balance with the sandstone peak on the left. The people add interest, scale and a splash of colour. The cool, dark sky contrasts beautifully with the pale sandstone.

I really like the compressed perspective of this telephoto landscape. It reduces the landscape to a series of layers while the light and shade convey depth and provide separation. The lone walker is ideally placed - adding scale and a point of interest. A well seen and captured image.
