I love this shot and your interaction with the farmer has paid off. It looks like you've allowed yourself time to compose him and the scene in the lovely soft light you waited for. We can rush so often when we take a portrait but this has that quality of thought. The black and white works well as does the cat creeping towards camera inquisitively! Well done.
This is a striking photo and I admire the reason for creating it which adds to its strength. The light on the subject against the dark sky is fantastic. I think I would crop the right side to remove the back half of the cow, otherwise great shot. Let us hope she'll be playing her violin to a packed auditorium soon.
What a fantastic landscape and cloud formation. With the cowboy in silhouette it gives us that iconic look of the West. I think a few tweaks in photoshop or lightroom or on a phone app could really enhance this. A slight turn anti clockwise to straighten and some contrast to help lift the details in the landscapes.

I love everything about this photo, it immediately made me smile. The boys eyes and smile draw you in as does the clever depth of field to obscure the background which I can't quite make out... The relationship to nature with the flowers and leaf give a very fresh and contemporary feel, great composition and black and white tones.
