The moment I saw this image I was captivated by both the light and the three figures all working together. The mannequin so perfectly looking towards your passer by, almost a reversed role. Your image reminds me of the great work by Philip-lorca diCorcia. If you know him already, great, but if not you will find further inspiration in his work I'm sure. Well done, brilliant submission.
This image has a hyperreal feel to it and looks straight out of a film set. I love the classic look it has with the black and white conversion you've applied and the depth of field you've used. It's an interesting frame/crop too you've chosen. It's a very strong portrait so thanks for sharing with the team here, we hope to see more.
I like the symmetry in the shot and the colour tone. Its slightly desaturated, not sure if you meant it to be but it works well with the pop of red and blue from your daughters clothing. My only suggestion would be to try such a shot slightly wider taking in more of the scene, I get why you've gone in or cropped but maybe try it and see how it feels. Great submission!
Quite a striking shot proving the person doesn't need to be the dominant part of the image. I love the composition and the corner to corner framing of the stairs. We'd love to know where it is so please tell us the locations of any future submissions! We hope to see more from you. Thanks for sharing.
You've caught a wonderful moment between father and son here. They look very happy sharing the morning light which you've caught brilliantly. There are some great highlights on their profiles and the hookah. It feels the composition is a little awkward although you've cropped, I feel it would sit more comfortably if they were centre of frame if your RAW allows you that room. Really interesting shot and moment you've captured.
This is very intriguing and I'd love to know more about what is going on. The collage technique is very strong and the part I love the most is the broken frame at the bottom encapsulating the uneasiness of the whole piece. Thanks for submitting, we hope we see some more of these in the competitions, perhaps telling us a little about them.
Considering you started out taking photos barely a year ago this is a striking self portrait. Your technical challenges can easily be overcome so please don't let these put you off. I'm not sure about that camera you've used but most cameras have self timers allowing you to set upto at least 10 seconds giving you the time to sit. You're also shooting at 1/15 sec which will cause blur (although you've sat so still there isn't any!) Therefore aim to shoot at 1/30 or higher 1/125 is a good place to be if your light allows. Great shot so thanks for submitting and keep going, you should continue to explore theatrics and your self expression through photography.
