What a wonderfully engaging and mysterious portrait. I love the connection with the subject. Reading the caption and learning more about the encounter, the motivation and the overall idea of the project makes me feel excited to see more. Technically, it's superb, too. Good work!

A well-seen scene. I love the way the figures are integrated into the urban landscape. The string of people, all with their little red swimming hats, is inspired, while the foreground figure creates structure in the composition. The overall colour hue and tonality speak to the sense of heat and summer. Good work.

Buses and public transport are great places to make photographs, especially of people. Often the protagonists can be lost in thought or moments of contemplation, and this can make interesting images that can sometimes speak to the wider human condition. Lovely use of muted black and white tones in this shot.

Happy days. I love the vibrant, candid energy this image reveals. In the tradition of the diaristic approach, pioneered by photographers such as Nan Goldin in the 1980s, this tableau has an authentic, unposed vibe. A spontaneous moment has been artfully captured.

Excellent idea for a portrait. Focusing in super close can be very effective, as seen here. Isolating the pupil in colour using the 'spot colour' technique and making the rest of the image black and white was a nice touch.

A fun and vibrant portrait. The mischievous twinkle in the subject's eye feels authentic and engaging. He's clearly proud of his fine tache, which comes through in the composition. A good clutter-free background and fine use of colour all work well.

While there are no actual people in this image, and it's not a portrait as such, there is a lurking human presence, which I feel makes it an interesting photo in this context. Sometimes pictures of people don't need people in them - and there's a lot to read into this picture about people.

Excellent compsotion and use of blur to create atmosphere and direct attention to the subject. I'm not sure if this was done in-camera, using image editing software or AI, but either way, it's effective. The colour grading and tonality add to the vibe, too.

What a stunning landscape. Wow. The fantastic hues of blues, greens and turquoise are simply sublime. I love the minimal, featureless landscape punctuated by the three figures walking away from the camera and into the scene. This is a lovely photo.

Excellent use of lighting in a controlled environment. Working with studio lights is skilled work. You have managed to create a lovely, warm vibe, that feels natural and uncontrived., this is no mean feat so kudos to you! Keep up the good work!

It is a slightly mysterious portrait. The clever use of focus point, blur, muted colour palette, and contrasty tonality all add to the atmospheric vibe. At the same time, the deadpan expression adds intrigue. The fence in the foreground creates an interesting barrier that may suggest a deeper metaphoric meaning.

How lovely to see an image shot on film from the pre-digital era. The composition is stunning; the three women with their tall bundles of firewood are striking and exude an almost sculptural presence in the frame. The tree at the top is a nice touch too.

Clever and creative use of reflection, transparency and layers to make a nuanced and thought-provoking image. It's an engaging picture that draws the viewer into the mini-narratives unravelling in the frame, along with the overriding sense that this is also a self-portrait. Good work. Keep it up.

The elements in this image have been thoughtfully arranged and placed in the frame. The verticals are good and straight, giving the image a formal vibe. There are just enough details in highlights and deep shadows, while the position of the figure is perfect. Good work.

This is a top-notch silhouette - they're not as easy to get right as most people think. The gradation of the background is superb. I particularly like how the light breaks through the glass jar and the basket, adding layers of depth. Excellent job!
