All in the sign. This political photograph more than ever resonates in 2025. It is the girl in the middle of the frame, directly responding to the camera that adds weight and drama to the image. We can't help but think about our own circumstances when we look at this photograph. The attention to detail is excellent as is the exposure. Great image that makes us think. Well done.

We have all looked out onto the large expanse and dreamed a little. This evocative photograph allows us the viewer alongside the individual in the picture to take a moment for ourselves. The black and white adds to the dreamy quality and the formal composition is very well seen and made. A classic image that the photographer should be very proud of.

This image is all about balance and unity within the frame. Each element from the jewelry in the foreground to the man wearing the same colored shirt to the warmer colors and pattern of the fabrics in the background. The balance is perfectly placed by the photographer. Its a great example of a candid portrait. Superb. well done.

A superb example of a gathering coming together in celebration. This is not an easy image to take, The photographer has worked really hard to get all the details in the shadows and highlights under control and the white balance is really beautifully executed which in this light is not easy. We then have this great capture of friends together. A superb photograph that does justice to the occasion. Very well done.

The attention to detail and the photographers ability to get so close to the subject really pays off in this fantastic environmental portrait. The use of black and white adds to the gritty drama of the young man looking out of shot. This urban portrait tells a story of youth within our cities. The exposure is perfect with details in the shadow areas and the highlights which are well controlled. Great capture.

The way the lines in shadow just draw our eye in to the main subject, the woman walking through the temple works so well. The wonderful light on her dress and the green bag which is echoed in the colors of the temple throughout the image is lovely. The exposure is perfect which is not easy to control given the range of highlights and shadows within the picture. A beautifully balanced image which would work well in National Geographic Magazine. The quality of light that falls onto these individuals as they walk across the frame is illuminating. The camera fixed onto the woman's stare in the center of the frame is powerful and really leads our eye into the entire photograph. The shallow depth of field adds to the drama and how we read and look at the image. It's not easy to make images of crowds that stand out. This photographer has done that. A stunning photograph. Well done.

Even though we cannot see the individuals and the expressions or emotions on their faces, this incredible photograph is all about these two people and the connection they have. The high contrast black and white works so well against the very well controlled spot light shining directly onto them and us the viewer. This is a powerful image well controlled and perfect exposure that talks about people and how they bond. Superb construction and composition. Well done.

The simplicity is what really makes this image jump out from the crowd. The quality of light on the young mans face is stunning as is the rim light around the hair. The subtle light coming through the window to reveal the marks and scratches on the glass work really well with the main subject. The overall exposure is well controlled and that stare into the space takes us the viewer on our own journey outside of the frame. Great capture. Very well done.

I love the vibrancy and emotion in this well framed photograph. The depth of field is key to this image. We get to see where she lives and what type of place she lives in from the houses outside the window. They balance the image perfectly. The smile is warm and inviting the curtains really balance out the entire picture.. Well done. Great emotional and vibrant capture.

This is all about three. The three paintings together, mirrored by the three teenagers interestingly not looking at the paintings. This could be a comment on how we now spend time in a gallery where the idea of us being present is more important than the artwork? What I do love is the visual connection between them and the painting, The sense of movement that is present between both areas within the frame. Great capture.

Vibrancy, celebration and pain all seem to come together in this vivid and emotional portrait. The close crop is superb as is the use of highly saturated colors that pop on the screen. The exposure is perfect and the narrow depth of field mean we concentrate on the the lady front and center. This photograph shows all the emotion at this festival in one highly charged image. Great capture.

A great example of a psychological drama played out in a single frame. The use of contrast in the black and white image adds tension to the subject as does the tight crop and quality of light across the frame. The pose is complex but works in relation to the title of the picture. Stunning and dystopian in equal measure. A picture that makes you think. Well done.

I love the harmony between these two and the sharpness and vivid colors really bring this photograph alive. It really does give us the viewer an idea of what it is like to be young and at an event like this. It is a modern photograph for now. I would have liked to see the young mans arm in shot but that is a minor point in what is a wonderful capture and a great moment in time for these two individuals.
