Clever and creative use of a low angle of view gives this scene a powerful sense of energy and action. The strong diagonals in the composition add to this, while the bright orange of the lifeguard’s outfit brings a striking visual punch.

Clever and imaginative use of double exposure creates a scene with an exquisitely ethereal groove. It feels like it could be an album cover for a cool group from the 1970s, perfectly channelling their free-spirited, free-wheeling vibe. Good work. Keep it up.

This is an excellent street portrait. I like the muted colour palette, which has been skilfully handled and artfully rendered. The composition is strong, with clever use of diagonal lines to draw the viewer in, while the subject’s distant gaze deepens the mood.

The strong atmospheric lighting, with its striking contrast, works extremely well in this capture. The relatively high-contrast treatment of the black-and-white tones enhances the portrait too, giving it a raw and expressive quality that complements the penetrating gaze of the subject.

As a frequent traveller, I can strongly identify with this image. I am interested in Marc Augé’s ideas around “non-places,” such as airports that lack identity, and this photograph captures that concept exquisitely. The colour palette is subtle, nuanced and beautifully handled.

A skilfully executed studio portrait that demonstrates excellent control of lighting, which feels both natural and artfully balanced. The colour palette, with its warm greens, works beautifully in harmony with the subject. This is thoughtful, well-crafted work. Kudos to you!

What an amazing capture. This image speaks eloquently to Cartier-Bresson’s idea of the decisive moment. I love how the sun is positioned centrally within the composition, and by shooting into the light, you have created a strong silhouette that emphasises the beautiful forms of both subject and bird.

I love the quiet, contemplative mood of this still and gentle portrait. Naturally, there is a narrative twist with the subject in the water. I am unsure what that story is, but that uncertainty works. The subject’s placement in the landscape is perfect.

I love the craziness of this bold and confident shot. I am not entirely sure what is happening, especially when considering the title Heartbreak Red, but the mysterious, energetic narrative and its ambiguity make me like the image all the more.

There is a lovely natural energy to this quietly observed moment. The use of shallow depth of field, achieved with a wide aperture such as f/2.8 (or emulated on a smartphone), creates excellent separation between subject and background. The blues and yellows are beautifully balanced.

This is a clever and creative image that works extremely well. I love the sense of narrative, even if its meaning remains ambiguous, which adds intrigue. The composition and the subtle colour palette are both handled with artistic sensitivity. Kudos!

Clever use of foliage and yellow flowers creates an excellent frame within a frame for this engaging portrait. The shallow depth of field, achieved with an f/1.7 aperture, skilfully blurs foreground and background, focusing attention on the subject. Strong work.

An excellent image that has been keenly observed. The range of expressions has been skilfully captured. The composition is very strong, with a clever sense of depth leading the viewer into the frame, while the red and black colour palette harmonises beautifully.

There is a lovely, delicate grace to this quietly spoken image. The cool colour palette, with its soft blue and white hues, conveys a strong sense of calm and tranquillity. A beautifully restrained and thoughtful photograph. Superb work, well done.

I love the strong sense of drama in this striking scene. The protagonist, taking centre stage, draws us directly into the experience. Excluding the horizon was a clever and creative decision, and in my opinion, it works extremely well. Kudos.
