A well-controlled and exposed silhouette shot. I like the attention paid to the shapes of the subject's body and the way you've manipulated the blur for creative effect. Silhouettes are dependent on their shapes, and you've understood that perfectly Good work.

This is an excellent, albeit a little crude in places, montage. The combination of the two images works a treat and has a spiritual energy to it. I'm intrigued by the numbers on the costume, was this part of a race or a competition of sorts? Would love to see more. Keep it up!

The minimalist approach to this composition works extremely well. The figure in the boat creates a perfect focal point, while the reflections and ripples towards the top of the frame add a graphic sense of context. Less is more here. Good work.

The mysterious sense of story in this intriguing image is compelling. In particular, the use of shadow to help shape the narrative; initially, the shaded eyes of the main subject, but then the shadow of the photographer on the other figure. The result, rendered in artfully handled mono tones, is a delight.

A lovely, quiet moment, artfully captured. I love the use of light in this image. Shooting towards the light (contre jour) creates a wonderful sense of depth as the light streams into the frame. The mono tones have been handled well too.

I like the strong use of lines in this striking image. Photographing snow is always challenging, but you've handled it with skill. The photograph as document works well here in recording a moment, hopefully fleeting, in our history. Protest images are an important part of our visual history and this is a fine example.

Nicely captured moment of this fisherman. It's the decisive moment and energy that really make this image work, from the posture of the subject to the bend and curve of the fishing rod there's a wonderful sense of motion. Kudos.

We see a lot of music images in this category, but this is one of the finest. What I particularly like is the way you've skilfully incorporated the audience, and this person's hand pointing towards the performer adds a wonderful extra element.

The creative use of lighting works a treat in this accomplished studio portrait. It's not easy working with mixed colour lighting, but you've handled it with skill. I also like the natural posture and cool, calm gaze of the subject. Kudos to you.

Excellent shot, beautifully seen and artfully captured. I love the fact that you had the courtesy to seek permission, but this has not made the subjects self-conscious or altered the authenticity of the moment. I feel this is good practice. Kudos to you.

The low angle of view works extremely well in this composition and helps create a feeling for the viewer that they're really there, part of the experience. The rich, vibrant colour palette works beautifully too. A confident and immersive image. Good work.

Wow, the 1960s vibe oozes out of this frame. The swirling black and white umbrellas look wonderful, with the main protagonist central in a pyramid-like composition. The mono treatment has been skilfully controlled, adding to that retro feel. Good work!

Great concept, and I love that you've tried to skew the narrative by contrasting the military uniform with pink smoke. An interesting image that makes you think. Working with smoke can be challenging, as you mention, so kudos for nailing this.

This is a well-seen image, and I love the narrative element that the reflection of the protagonist introduces. There are some lovely lines in the composition, and the black-and-white treatment suits the subject beautifully. A thoughtful and considered image. Kudos.

What a lovely travel image. The rich, dark background with almost no detail works well, especially in isolating the subject. The light falling on their hat is perfect, while what detail there is in the background adds atmospheric context. Kudos!
