Off the beaten path

What a spectacular way to showcase the lunar eclipse! The bright reds of the eclipse against the inky blues and blacks of the sky make the moon seem particularly vibrant. The stars add to the overall landscape and the moon almost looks like it's coming out of the mountain. Well done!

Absolutely stunning panorama. You feel both meek and small beneath a huge sky full of brilliant light. The lone tree in the center of the photo stands out and showcases just how small the landscape is in comparison to the night sky. Great job stitching the images together!

I just love the dimensions that are showcased in this image. The tonal contrast of the nearby dune with the darker tan of the dune behind it emphasize the lone figure at the very tip. For colors that are muted, they certainly stand out against the blue of the sky!

Really cool photo from a path far away from the familiar. The blue of the sky against the skyline is great and the angle is very compelling. I wish I had been able to see a little more detail in the yaks, as I feel they were just out of focus!

Love the shot, especially with the green at the base so vibrantly standing out from the blues and browns in the rest of the photo. Really like how the horizon almost fades directly into the sky and love the sharp contrast of the rocks against the water!
