Parisian Street Scenes

Everything about this image screams Parisian. From the well-groomed look to the way the subject is holding the cigarette with one hand while the other hand is in the subject’s pocket. The line of cars give a good perspective but the real beauty of this image is the framing. The framing offers one car only showing a part of its wheel it reinforces to the viewer, including the way the subject is looking, that there is more off to the left of this image and that is left to our imagination.

One thing a love about the Parisians is they are unafraid to show off their style and that stands them in good stead to be street performs. Metaphorically the subject relieving himself against the wall adds to this mystic of the unafraid Parisian’s self-expression.

While I find it difficult to like portrait style images this image uses the space wonderfully. You have the key tourist attraction on the right side and as a backdrop to the rest of the scene. A wonderful composition that draws you into the lives of the two lady's while not being overpowered by the tower.
