Pastel Colours

Firstly , thank you for entering my challenge. The pastel shades of blue and pink in this image tend to blend in well with the slight touch of yellow as depicted by the woman's swimming cap. The wavy feel of the walls behind the girl tend to go hand in hand with that of the possible ripples that might emanate from the swimming pool.The visibility of ice may depict many symbolic meanings- the woman in question may be b frozen in time unable to move on with her life. Her body posture and facial expression tend to draw us further into the image as we ponder upon what her racing thoughts may include. A well composed and beautiful image. congrats and well done!

The draw card in this image is not only the soft pastel feel but one can also sense the artistic connotation.A sketch like or painterly feel has been developed which contrasts well with the pastel colours so used. Great attention has been paid to detail such as the benches, animals and bicycles-which make for the perfectly composed image. Congrats and well done!

This makes us ponder as to what she is thinking or her mindset at that particular moment in time. The softness of the pastels depict innocence while the expression on her face could be otherwise. The soft effect of the pastel colours emanating from the sky make for the perfect spot for a bench awaiting persons to reside. The slight view of the sea on the right makes us ponder upon the oceanic view as seen from the bench.Congrats and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. One can not but help fall in love with a baby so depicted- the soft colours contrast well with the contented, serene look upon the baby's face. An extremely well composed image -from the hands just under the chin propping the face up to the bow on her head. The soft pastel colour of the blanket is further accentuated by the presence of feathers surrounding it .Congrats and well done!
