Congratulations on being my winner! I really like this shot, great atmosphere, colors and composition. A solid sunset never disappoints. Although there are some people far away on the beach, the person with the horse seems to be secluded in their own space, which i like. Great detail and contrast in the sand and water in the foreground. The vignette, although fairly strong, works well for this picture. The separation between the water and the beach creating a subtle leading line. The sun could have been just a touch less exposed, or maybe bringing the highlights down a touch, but again, in this image it works. You got a couple sensor dust specs in the sky but other then that, top shot !

I like this photo very much. Playful, interesting, with a story to tell. It makes me wonder how these two boys, clearly from different ethnically backgrounds, know each other and ended up in this tub. Why are they in the tub in the first place :) I love a shot that makes you think and wonder about the story. The composition works well, and i like the strong bokeh just leaving enough information to set the scene yet blurring out any distraction. Turning the photo black and white was a good choice in my opinion and adds to the documentary style feel of the shot. There is one thing i was wondering about... Did you add grain in post? Looking at the metadata of the photo, Camera, Lens, ISO it should not have any. If it was added in post i don't think it needed it. It makes it a bit more documentary, but it looks like you nailed focus and i think a clean image would have been better. This is obviously personal preference and not me telling you what to do :) Very nice shot anyway!
I like this photo very much. Love the scene and how you combined an already very cool landscape shot with the added subject in the foreground. The colors are subtle and not over processed which i like. The slight haze over the mountains reinforces the main character being the painter without the need for bokeh to do so. Personally i am wondering if there could have been a slightly different framing option but that is just personal preference. I think the photo works well and has a lot of merit! Great shot!
Great photo! One of these shots i would hope to be able to take myself at some point (bucket list). I love the composition and the depth in the shot with the misty background preserving plenty of detail in the sand dunes. Beautiful location. The subject being quite small in the frame is a good choice, giving a great feel of the vastness of the location. Your overall color saturation and contrast is fairly subtle but it works. Personally i know i would have pushed these more, but seeing your shot i am not sure if that would have been the better choice. I wish i could have been there when you took the shot, looks absolutely stunning!
