The image is so sweet, so dreamy, so angelic. Soft light, smooth and subdued skin with a healthy complexion. Beautiful red hair, lovely dress. A smattering of freckles over the cheeks and bridge of the girl’s nose. The pose appears effortless and the hands well placed. The illusion is complete thanks to the highly skilled portrait photographer and a cooperative child. Pure Magic!

An unusual and interesting pose. Long, straight red hair wrapped in a forward ponytail. Both hands on her hair as though she is gently grasping a rope. Nice, soft directional lighting. The girl’s eyes are serious as is her expression that contains not even a hint of a smile. Lovely portrait. Did her parents like it or were they looking for a happier look? Well done!

An aging Warrior! A Viking who has survived many battles and can still swing a sword or axe with bloody accuracy! There is some apprehension in the eyes and mouth as he evaluates the approaching danger. Time has lined his face as the red and white hairs in his beard fight for supremacy. He is still strong! He is not ready to be slain in battle. The glory of Valhalla must wait to another day. Great Capture!

The photograph is indeed such a clever juxtaposition of the young lady’s beautiful red hair with both the coat and the tale of her horse. Was the shot was spontaneous? With the rider in an awkward posture, the background poles that detract from the subjects may not have been a controllable factor. I love the creative concept!

Unbelievably long, curled red hair! It would appear to have never been cut! Were there any hair extensions involved? There are none that I can detect. Such a marvelous appearance and a great tribute to redheads everywhere. It must be a chore to care for her red locks! Nice, relaxed capture that shows off her incredible locks.

I am not sure if our little guy is blowing a kiss or just pursing his lips. He appears to be a somewhat mischievous pixie. The brick background and the wood construction beams are an unusual but somehow a perfectly fitting setting. The soft lighting is good and even the apparent discoloration on his shirt seems very appropriate. Nice capture!
