People's Bad Habits

The direct eye contact with the viewer is most becoming and tend to draw the viewer's eye in so as to peruse the image further The close up nature of the image allows us to feel for the hardened life he must've led. Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The man's total focus is on the drink in front of him - this is depicted by his hands being on his head. One tends to feel his anguish and torment he is going through - while deciding on whether to pick up or be strong enough to say no to the demon's which seem to plague him. The darker nature of the image allows us to feel the somber nature of the image and the internal tug of war he is going through. Congratulations and well done!

The angle in which the gentleman is lighting up his cigarette is different and becoming. The slight silhouette is also most becoming . In general a perfectly composed image . The play on light is perfect in the fashion that only half his face is lit- this tends to give an ominous feeling to the image - Although while lighting his cigarette he still keeps eye contact with the viewer. His glasses also tend to add an interesting element to the image . An ominous image as reinforced by the darker nature thereof. Congratulations and well done!
