Firstly , thank you for entering my challenge. What appeals to me mostly about these images is the fact that one does not need model type looks to make a great portrait. These old craggy faces hold so much character and tend to draw one further into the image- one wonders more about the story he has to tell behind that face and what the future may hold for him We ask ourselves is he camera shy or wiping away a tear of sorrow with his hand- that we will never know! Congrats and well done!
Firstly , thank you very much for entering my challenge. Once again this proves that model type looks aren't always a requirement for great portraiture shots. What appeals to me most is the character his face displays- from the wrinkles, crooked teeth and unkept beard. Despite this his radiant smile and eyes draws one into the image prooving that despite any hardship he may have endured he is basically a happy man.Congrats and well done!

Firstly , thank you very much for entering my challenge. What appeals to me most is the way the hair and skin colour tend to blend together which is very pleasing on the eye. The downcast look also may depict hardship and perseverance in life . The stark white background works well with the darker brown tones. Congrats and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. What appeals to me mostly is the angle in which the portrait was taken. This tends to bring out certain facial features otherwise neglected such as the mouth and the distant look in the woman's eyes. I love the way the headpiece, necklace and dress all seem to be in sync concerning the style. The tousled look is very appealing.Congrats and well done!
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. Once again proving that model type looks don't always make for great portraiture. Once again the hardship of life is depicted as well as the pain he is currently going through. The eyes here are for sure the window to his battered soul in this particular instance.Congrats and well done!
