The silhouette of this image is absolutely stunning, and what a specimen of an animal captured so well. I love the choice of black and white here, but also the frame selection, each leg poised perfectly in the air. The high key background compliments the dark fur of the horse, and I love the little details of his curled mane. All around this is a beautiful portrait of stunning animal.

A gorgeous capture that embodies the sleekness and all around athleticism of this beautiful dog. I especially like the detail of his paw just barely above the ground as he vaults across the beach. And such an intensity in his face and eyes. The black and white coat is exposed well which is often difficult and stands out against the backdrop. Very well shot!

The lines of this image draw me in, and this photo is a phenomenal example of the essence of light in a good photograph. I love the deep blacks contrasted against key highlights that surround the subject. The energy of the dog's movement is perfectly summarized as a sleek motion blur, a simplistic portrait of movement as the waves roll in towards him. It's a gorgeous, moody shot.
