Brief
The winner of this contest will be featured on the front page of PHOTOSHOOT magazine. Therefore, entries MUST BE IN PORTRAIT – we print in A4. Please read the specific contest rules on the 'Terms' tab.
PHOTOSHOOT Weddings is one of the quarterly 'themed specials' from PHOTOSHOOT Magazine (published September 2019). Our special issue will be packed with an exciting mixture of traditional and creative wedding photo-shoots, wedding beauty, fashion and venues and a whole lot more.
We are delighted to team up with Photocrowd to launch our 'Front Cover Competition', for photographers to submit their bridal work. Get noticed and have one of your images published on a PHOTOSHOOT magazine cover.

The winner will be chosen by Jane Kelly, Editor in Chief PHOTOSHOOT Magazine, and will receive the Wedding special edition cover image, as well as a 1 year printed subscription!
Contest terms & conditions
PLEASE read the following rules, guidelines and terms and conditions before submitting your work.
- The winner of this contest will be featured on the front page of PHOTOSHOOT magazine. Therefore, entries MUST BE IN PORTRAIT – we print in A4.
- To enter, you simply need to register (for free) to Photocrowd.com. Anyone aged 13 or over is eligible for a Photocrowd account. Please read Photocrowd's Terms and Conditions for more information.
- Entries must not be published elsewhere in other photo magazines
- Work submitted MUST have been shot by yourself, and no-one else. Eg. you cannot enter the work under your own name if you are the model – only the photographer can enter.
- Entrants must not submit images that involve nudity or violence
- Please submit high resolution version of minimum 300 dpi (print)
Prize details
The winner will be chosen by Jane Kelly, Editor in Chief PHOTOSHOOT Magazine, and will receive the Wedding special edition cover image, as well as a 1 year printed subscription!
The winner will also be required to send in a Your Shoot or Focus On article to run in the magazine with behind-the-scenes images (if available). Full details will be sent following the winner’s announcement.
Your Shoot Feature: We profile your whole photo-shoot. We require behind-the-scene images and you can also include video footage if available. We also need a write-up of the shoot from each party involved, along with all credits and contact information.
Focus On Feature: This is an opportunity to profile you and your best work, along with credits and contact information in a double-page spread. All we need is a short biography, along with your top five images.
Our article will give you an idea of our style and what we look for on our covers.
How it works
This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed.
