Pink

Thank you for submitting this image. Amongst a lot of flamingo images, this one stood out for me because of the frame filling composition, giving us a lovely variety of tones of pink, offset by the cooler blue tones. Congratulations on second place!

Thank you for submitting this image, which surprised me! I love the unexpected pop of bright pink highlight in such a grey, dark urban scene. It feels different and pleasing. I feel like I'd prefer to see a bit more sky and less ground, but nonetheless this is the image that I keep coming back to. Congratulations on first place!

Thanks for submitting this image which stood out for its difference in how the colour pink adds to the image. I love the contrast of the girl's dress with the uniformity of the majority of the other clothing. Her behaviour - the non-uniform way of leaning while walking - is at odds with the others' natural and varied body positions and gestures. This authentic colour pop then emphasises the authentic moment of her personality standing out in the frame. I also appreciate the frame filling composition of the adults in black - to me symbolising the framing of adult behaviour. I would love a slight crop on the left to remove the space to the left of the head and therefore matching the head crop on the right. Congratulations on third place!
