Plant Life in Lava Fields

Brief

I would like to see your photos of plants growing on lava fields. On lava fields, plant life has to start over again. For soil to form on the top of a lava flow, the rock must be weathered down, and cracks and crevices collect dirt, water, and seeds. Eventually, mosses, ferns, algae and lichens start to grow. Your images should show these plants which demonstrate this marvellous recovery of plant life from devastation. Photos can be in monochrome or colour.
