What a fun photo! This is a well executed image of a crazy concept. I love how the expressions of the ducks appear to be so shocked. I am sure they would not appear to look like that if the circumstances were different. Very good use of lighting and careful composition.

This is a nicely composed and exposed image. I like the colors and contrast between the frost and the dark background. The very shallow depth of field you have used well to emphasize the color and the texture of the light.

I love the color, light, composition, and irony in this photograph. The orange is wonderful and helps to add contrast to the natural scene we are looking at through the opening in the tent. This is a clever image for this competition on plastics and shows us how plastic can enhance our life experience.

I love the simplicity of this photo. Your use of contrast and a well controlled exposure makes the most of your subject and the shadow it creates. I like your composition because you have carefully cropped and made very good use of negative space. Nice strong image!

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s Leaderboard.** Everywhere you look, there’s plastic. Super useful and adaptable, it’s transformed our world, but now seems like it’s getting into more places than we’d really appreciated, or would like it to, and production is still rising. Our food and products come wrapped in it, our kids play with it, our cars and buildings are full of it, and annually, globally, about 50kg of plastic is produced per person. You may have some compelling images of plastic objects in your archive, but you may also want to pick up your (part-plastic) camera, start looking around and be reminded just how surrounded by the stuff we are.
