Portrait Orientated Landscapes

I absolutely love the black and white conversion of this image. The streaks in the long exposure of the sky would well against the grasses in the FG. It is a nice contrast between the 2. I like that the path is not centered and leads your eye nicely through the image. Well done on a great image :-)

I like the fact that the horizon of this image is in the centre. It makes for a nice balanced image with the lead in lines of the path and the shapes of the sky. The colours are great and the difference between the 2 is amazing. Almost like 2 different images. Well done -)

This is a very dramatic image and perfect in a Portrait Orientated image. The lighting is great and the light and snow lead your eyes up the image to the top of the mountain. Well done and congratulations on First Place :-)

This image has a lot going for it, that is very pleasing to the eye, whether it is that you see the bench first and then look out into the image, or that the gap in the trees leads your eye down to the bench. The blues and whites work really well here and it is good that you have a nice blue sky in the image. Well done on a great image.

I absolutely love the sense of scale in this image with the people in the bottom left. Without these, I don't think that the image would be as good. The colours of the water against the sand really stand out well. Congratulations on a great image :-)

Wow! Some people would say that the flare in the shot is not ideal, but I think that this adds to the shot. Lovely colours and light to this shot. Focus looks spot on. Well done, and I am, jealous that I did not take this shot myself -)
