Portraits of People in Black and White

Firstly thank youfor entering my challenge . The beauty and total innocence of the little girl tends to capture the attention of the viewer. Her young soul is still so innocent and it is obvious that she hasn't yet been exposed to the harshness of the world and the true reality of the big wide world out there. An amazing stage of a child's life, this however, doesn't last forever but that to be protected at all costs. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering mychallenge.. The viewer is immediately drawn into the image as they ponder the reason behind his brooding stance. We can only but imagine that upon which he is so thoughtful, we will never truly know but simply surmise. The look of concern as he ponders off into the distance will capture the attention of most. His long dreadlocks are also a point worth mentioning . Tha absence of colour allows us to focus more upon the portraiture so concerned without the ability of colour to distract us upon perusal. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The woman's face in the image is mostly covered by a woven fabric - this doesn't allow the viewer the ability to read her facial expression to the full extent. The eyes , however, are in full view- the so called "windows to the soul"-which alows us a pertial glimpse into her world. The eyes also tend to draw the viewer in as they stare straight ahead into the camera lens. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The portrayal of this elderly gentleman smoking his cigarette is perfectly composed and captured by the camera. One notices that he is focused upon his cigarette and also the smoke thereof -which is immense but provides us with more detail into his soul. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. This gentleman tends to give off hard core vibes- being a biker and more than likely part of a gang that probably does breakfast runs together! He seems very confident of himself while leaning over his motorbike.. The only question we can ask ourselves iswhat has captured his attention to the right side. This,hower, we will never know but can only surmise. Congratulations and well done!
