Public Demonstrations in Black and White

Excellent photo reportage of a unique moment. The police officer looking straight into the camera makes it even more interesting. Although I would have chosen a 16/9 ratio for this photo it was my favorite one in this contest. Black and white conversion was well done. Congrats on the first place.

The woman stands out of the demonstrants, you pushed the trigger at the right moment. I would have used a 16/9 ratio as above is a lot of free space. This would have been making the scene even more interesting with more focus on the women and the rest of the demonstrants. Congrats on a 6th place in my contest. Well done.

An extraordinary image talking for itself. You caught the moment and the scene. Cutting a crowd scene to fit isn't easy. Black and white conversion, light and contrast are well done and not so easy as some parts where in high sun. Congrats on a second place.

The 16/9 ratio fits perfectly for this photo. Excellent black and white conversion and you caught the right moment of this participating demonstrant showing you his anger. Well focused. A pity that the man on the right has been cut in the middle but a photoreportage image of a crowd isn't easy to shot. Congrats on a 4th place in my judging.
