The photographer has captured a wide range of colors along with a pond, and in the distance are visitors. While many submissions lost the sky from over exposure, this photo keeps the color which is a beautiful offset to the garden palette. There is nothing quite like a tulip garden in early spring and this view is lovely. Tulips are such a delight, especially after a bleak winter, and this garden has been expertly designed.
The composition is intriguing, with the view from a corner. The photographer was able to capture the large garden in all its glory, along with a bit of the manor house for context.

There were a number of photos of the herbaceous borders at Nymans but I loved this one with the panorama crop. Instead of the walkway taking a large part of the composition, this has enabled the borders, as well as the topiary, fountain and gate to be highlighted.
