Your participation in this contest to remember the iconic British symbol is highly appreciated. Could I also take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each and every photographer who submitted their photographs in the contest?

Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (1880-1960) designed the red telephone box, which, along with the red post box and the red London bus, is an instantly recognisable symbol of Britain. Sir Scott's design of the K2 cast iron telephone kiosk won a Post Office-sponsored competition in 1924. His updated K6 design followed in 1935.

Regarding your contribution, you adhered to the brief. Your composition, which maintains the focus on the telephone and post box, simultaneously draws attention to the background through a subtle interplay of sky and artificial lighting. The autumn leaves further enhance the mood in this shot.

Excellent work on a well-deserved accolade.

We greatly appreciate your participation in this contest to honour an iconic British symbol.

While adhering to the brief, you have presented an interesting image that not only beautifully portrays the architecture of the Gharb Village in Gozo but also introduces to the viewer the idea that red boxes are not just an icon limited to Great Britain, although the design in the photograph is close enough to the classic K2-K6 from Sir Scott.

Congratulations on making the Judge's top ten with your outstanding effort.

We greatly appreciate your participation in this contest to honour an iconic British symbol.

Over the last century, the UK's red telephone box has become a recognised cultural icon worldwide, with locations such as Malta, Bermuda, and Gibraltar. In 1935, King George V's Silver Jubilee commissioned the K6—the most recognizable iteration of the red telephone box. Just over 10,000 of the 60,000 red telephone boxes installed across the UK between 1936 and 1968 remain. Since the introduction of mobile phones in the 1980s, their use has generally declined. It is disheartening to observe that at many places, the once magnificent icon now stands with broken glass windows, strewn rubbish inside, and an overall dishevelled look. Hats off to you for presenting this aspect of reality as well.

Congratulations to you on your well-deserved Judge's top ten.

We greatly appreciate your participation in this contest to honour an iconic British symbol.

Your photograph covers the three aspects of the brief beautifully. The photograph showcases a pair of telephone boxes in Whitehall with a couple of buses in the background, amidst the world-famous British rainfall. The lady in the red coat, who appears to be occupied with her smartphone, subtly introduces the viewer to the irony of the iconic British icon becoming obsolete. Congratulations on making the Judge's top ten with your outstanding effort.

We greatly appreciate your participation in this contest to honour an iconic British symbol.

Your photograph celebrates the two British symbols with equally impressive winter landmarks. If I were shooting this subject, I would be tempted to provide a more detailed explanation of how this photograph came to be. Nevertheless, it is a commendable effort.

Please accept congratulations on your well-deserved commendation.

You have adhered to the brief and created a well-crafted image that highlights the red boxes against the equally iconic architecture of the Royal Mile. Lighting shadows and passersby add originality.

Congratulations on making the Judge's top three.

We greatly appreciate your participation in this contest to honor an iconic British symbol.

You have introduced the viewer to an interesting concept of looking at an equally iconic landmark in London. The focus then subtly shifts to the streetlights and the impressive autumn tree shadows in the glass. Overall, a daring yet innovative effort.

Please accept congratulations on your well-deserved commendation.
