Anyone who has been in London on a stormy evening can identify with this image. Your composition is excellent, making the reflection seem like they are actual objects. Your timing was also great, with the person at the ideal point with their hand up to their head, perhaps shielding their face from the weather. The little dots of colour from the leaves are a lovely touch that link well with the lamp.

While this may seem quite a simple image of a scene that many would walk by, it's beautifully executed. We love the graphic lines, bold colour and strong contrast. Your composition gives equal weighting to the building and its reflection to create an image about pattern and colour rather than the structure itself.
This image has lots of impact, we love the bold, dramatic dark lines that inject perspective and pull your eye into the frame and towards the two figures in the distance. You've picked the perfect time of day for the shot so that there's plenty of colour in the sky and the reflections. Great shooting angle!
This image is immediately striking and pulls you straight in. The composition is quite minimalist, yet there's so much going on within the scene. I (Jeff) also like how the wall in the right foreground is both a leading line into the two faces looking this way and an entrance into what they're gazing at.

It's such a simple, yet striking image that almost looks like a lithograph or graffiti art. The simple shape and outline of the umbrella, the frame around the subject - it all works so well. It's one of those small moments that might seem mundane to everyone else, but has been captured in an artful way.
