This was one of my picks for the top 10 bucket in the Blue & Yellow for Ukraine contest but it just missed out in the final vote among the judges, getting Highly Commended instead. Here's your turn in the spotlight – well-deserved! The composition is spot on – the two blurred trains pull us in while the pillar acts as a visual anchor, creating a very satisfying image to look at and linger with.
Absolutely phenomenal shot! It's like something you'd see on a billboard or a in a double-page spread in an alternative magazine. I'm almost certain that I've seen the guy on the left on the streets of London before! I wonder if they interacted or acknowledged each other after this.. Congratulations on winning first place.

The start and end and throughpoints of journeys, escapes, adventures. Or maybe just a trip to the shops. They come in all different shapes and sizes, spanning 250 years of architectural history, from remote platforms with a shelter and a gate, to vast transport hubs servicing capital cities. There’s appeal for every kind of photographer - architectural, documentary, landscape - and a wealth of imagery to be had.
