This is so good! I love the clear and sharp reflection in the window as well as the fact that it was one of the few shots in the contest to show us a railway station from inside the train looking out. Congratulations on winning first place.

This is a beautiful long-exposure shot with stunningly crisp lines, a well-balanced composition, and interesting colours. Nothing feels overdone – a 15-second exposure seems to have been just right. The pink and purple tones in the sky are particularly cool. Well done on second place!

I really liked this dreamlike shot with various sharper figures dotted around the scene as opposed to just one sharp subject in a typical composititon. Actually I'm suprised about how much blur you got from that particular shutter speed – tweaking the contrast has enhanced the effect and seems like a good move. Well done on third place!

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 1 and 250 in this week’s Leaderboard.** Railway stations are evocative places. The start and end and throughpoints of journeys, escapes, adventures. Or maybe just a trip to the shops. They come in all different shapes and sizes, spanning 250 years of architectural history, from remote platforms with a shelter and a gate, to vast transport hubs servicing capital cities. There’s appeal for every kind of photographer - architectural, documentary, landscape - and a wealth of imagery to be had.
