Rain

This image has great energy, I love the feeling of freedom it creates. The expression on her face is tells a story and the way she is holding her arms out with her shoes in her hands adds to the energy. A really nice picture.

This is a very strong image. The lighting is lovely with the shaft of warm colours running through the middle of the frame and contrasting very nicely with the blue umbrella. I like the composition with the figure slightly to the right of frame, giving them room to move into the frame.

Congratulations on this winning image, nothing says rain more than this! I really like the way the droplets and splashes from the heavy rain are frozen by the shutter speed and, even though it's f4, there is still a great depth of field keeping the droplets in focus.
