Reclaimed by Nature

This photo, to me, is very powerful. The use of black and white is lovely and dramatic. I feel like I am walking up the path through history and passing by the remains of those who have long been forgotten while the trees and leaves show that they are the ones that truly belong there. Everything about this photo draws me in. There is a very whimsical, nostalgic feel to it and I love the historic significance. This is the type of image I imagine in stories and books. I love the overgrown bridge and the movement of the water, and the yellow and green is so gentle and really completes the look. Thank you so much for entering this gorgeous piece.

This is an amazing image and a perfect example of being reclaimed by nature. The composition is beautiful and nothing distracts from the remains of the wooden boat that has obviously been there for many years. The focus and color is simple yet powerful. This imagine made me go "wow!". Those colors are gorgeous and I love that there is just enough of the hut showing through to know that it's there. My eye immediately went to the opening where the wood is exposed and the colorful leaves gives a beautiful, interesting contrast. Wonderful use of angle and color, thank you so much for entering it.

This image is absolutely incredible. I am amazed at how being so weathered and distressed can be so interesting and thought provoking. It makes me wonder about the people who had to leave it there and why it was left, and marvel at the fact that there are so many pieces left over even if it is spread out a bit and becoming one with the rest of the ground.
