I'm a sucker for good peeling paint shots. I think it shows the wonderful textures of things that have stood the riggers of weather and time in the elements. This image is another that combines a little bit of nature and man made, both of which give me the combination of colours I'm looking for. This is a second image in this contest which has an item with two coats of paint and both being the colours I asked to see. Congrats on hitting the nail on the head for the brief.

I really liked this image and I have given it a Judge Commended because I did state that most of the image should be green and red. Brilliant as this image is, its not mostly green and red. However it does have fabulously vibrant green and red within the light work. Its a very good shot and I can appreciate the work put in to get this effect. Congrats on your placement.

Congratulations for being my winning image. This is the type of image I had in mind when I created this contest. Its obviously caught the photographers eye, the combination of rich sumptuous reds and greens between natures delicate leaf greens and mans harsh painted metal which obviously had two coats, one of green and a second coat of red which is peeling away to leave behind hints of is previous life of being green. Just a beautifully captured image and many thanks for entering my contest.

In this contest I would like to see images of the colours red and green. The subject matter is wide, and open to anything you like, but the only stipulation being that most of your image needs to be of those two colours. I look forward to seeing your creative ideas.

Congrats on your Judge Commended image. What caught my eye instantly on this was the light inside the flower. Its one of those great moments where the light is breathtaking. It gives the red flower a semi translucent feel and a warm inviting glow. I think to give this image more of a sense of completion would be to give it a slight vignette to bring the eye totally to the centre light drama and give it a cosy feel. A very lovely image and thank you for entering my contest.
