Reflections - Water Only & Real

Again I feel some will not approve of this choice but the simple fact of the distorted reflection gives it a fantasy feel and I love it's almost 'mundane nothingness', there is not much within the image but what is there is very cleverly selected. The composition is a little unusual and it has an abstract element to it that I love.........

The uniqueness of the image makes it catch the attention above the rest there are many other superior quality images but the scene itself makes this stand out above the rest, there is some work that could be done to improve it but this is a rare glimpse of another world for many, nice......

Many people will probably not approve of my selection of this image but it is unique to this contest and stood out, very simple but brilliantly done I love its minimalism and it's framing of the building - for me, it's a gorgeous image. It is enhanced by the misty feel and the pink blossom, it has its flaws but they can be excused, very well done.....

Simply stunning the reflections smooth and effective with there leading lines but the inclusion of the log, especially the angle of it, catapult this into awesomeness, We follow the lines and are drawn into the distant sunset that has a nice softness to it as does the whole image.....

There were surprisingly few urban images and this one is beautiful, to me, I live in London and have a great love for it - a very well photographed location but the composition and feel of the image is quite unique. I love the positioning of the whole thing and the fact that the reflection seems to take up more space and is more dominant than the reality..... The clarity is superb and the tones very subdued, very clever........

The clarity and colours are perfection but the inclusion of the character and the stairs give this a real surreal feel. It has a nice composition but the character is also slightly distracting but would I have chosen it without him........

To me this is beauty in an image but I will say without the boat and the section of hill reflection this would not be what it is. Beautiful tones and the reflection seems like another world. There are so many leading lines and you are drawn all over the image the boat is marvellous and being portrait orientated really makes this image standout.........

Within this contest, there were literally hundreds of reflected landscapes and mountains but the clarity and the 3D feel to this image made it stand out above the rest also the inclusion of the shattered ice for me made this a very superior image. Insane clarity and sharpness, such depth and glorious colours, beautiful symmetry and composition so so nice, very well done.....
