Refractive Art

This is a text book image of how to use a lens ball, you have focussed on the image with sufficient depth of field to throw the background out of focus, the image is the correct way up and no reflections or imperfections in the balls surface well done

This image has me intrigued and puzzling how to try this as you have combined both refractive art with light painting the image in the ball is pin sharp whilst the lights are sufficiently out of focus to not be distracting great work

This captured the essence of the contest and with really vibrant colours demonstrated not just refraction in the use of glass and water but also glass water and air, . There is a lot of thought that went into setting the image up well done

This image shows you have a good eye for composition and skills in setting your image, the 3 refracting water drops are sufficiently in focus to show the bamboo leaves demonstrating your knowledge of macro focussing and depth of field, the stem adds a nice diagonal and the background is sufficiently out of focus to not be any distraction excellent work

The use of the lights and the patterns in both background and the refracted image showed skill in setting up your composition and your exposure. This image is well thought out and very striking. It would be a good screen saver well done

The mage through the ball of the sky at sunset enhances the overall picture which has beauty in a very minimalistic way. The depth of field has given the sky a very dreamy view due to being out of focus whilst the refracted image is razor sharp well done
