Congratulations Elize for finishing in my top-5. Even though this is not a photo including a typewriter, these typeballs from the old IBM typewriters bring back some memories. As I wrote in the preview I started selling these typewriters including all the different types of balls. Courier no. 10 was the best-selling 😉

Congratulations Nathan for winning the judge part of my competition Retro Typewriters. There were a lot of this types of photos from museums in the competition, but I think your photo was the best, including all the different materials on the table and the perfect light you captured from the window just made it perfect. Great shot.

Congratulations Kate for finishing in my top-10 in the judge part of my competition. Interesting to see that something that is retro in our part of the world are still used elsewhere. Very nice street photo and with a great story behind.

My first job after finishing education was as a salesman. Our main business was selling typewriters. It was just when the IBM typeball was being replaced by the daisy wheel machines. Now this is nonsense for the younger generation, who hardly knows what a typewriters is. In this competition I would like to see photos of all types of typewriters. The older the better, and if you have a interesting story to add, even better.
