Round Foods

The focus is solely on the meatball in this picture. The roundness is not perfection, but it's not meant to be. The perfect round meatball is slightly not round. The meat overflows. Lighting is perfect. I want to grab a fork and dig in.

Love this picture! I chose it as the winning image for a few reasons. It hits the brief and it does so with one of my favorite round foods; the egg, or more specifically the yolk! I love the texture, the lighting in on point, and the greenery adds to the color. Thank you!

I LOVE this photo. They yolk is the focus, and should be. The light glistening of the yellow is perfection. I love the pull to the flaky pepper as it seasons the yolk. Awesome macro. I wish I captured this picture.

What a clever and creative photo. This captures round food in a unique way. Lighting in the photo is great; sure it was a challenge getting good lighting on the peas since they were in a pod. And I always love a good macro.

I like the tomato as a round food. In fact, many people liked it as well. It was the number one entry in this contest. But your photo captured me amongst all of the other tomato photos. The water drops on the tomato so clear; sitting in a little puddle of the water that cleaned the fruit. It really is incredible.

A few doughnut pictures were entered in this contest. This photo stood out for me. I like the background. The lighting on the main donut is great. I like how you can see specs of the powdered sugar so clearly. Great entry.
