Great contest!

Thank you for entering the Scottish bridges competition. What makes this a top 10 image fr me. The processing makes this a very different bridge to the usual. Seeing the bridge in green instead of red . The blurred sky and glass like water make it stand out

Thank you for entering the Scottish bridges competition. Now why did I have this in my top 10. I like that the photographer got down onto the shore to take this. It's black and white and there is movement in the sky, good reflection and black and white suits it.

Thank you for entering the Sottish bridges competition. What makes this a top ten image for me? I like the use of black and white in this image. I also like the road bridge just appearing out of the mist, like it's back in the midst of time

Thank you for entering the Scottish Bridges competition. Now, what makes this a top 10 photo for me. It stood out from the crowd because of the use of infa red. It works well for this composition. Nice reflection on the water .

Thank you for entering the Sottish bridges competition. Now what makes this one of my top ten images. It's a different view to the standard view. I like how it cuts across with no messing. The effect of it vanishing into the distance also adds to it fir me.

Thank you for entering the Scottish Bridges competition. now what makes this a top 10 image in my eyes. Black and white really works for this almost silhouetted image. It brings out the lattice work on the bridge towers. Nice use of the available light but shooting into it. Nice one

Thank you for entering the Scottish bridges competition. Why is this a top 10 image for me ? It's a different angle of a weel kint bridge. I like the sweep as it leads you into the hills. The light on the underneath shows some texture and the choice of black and white really works for this.

Thank you for entering the Scottish Bridges competition. Now what makes this, for me, a top 10 image. It's not the usual view of the Tay Bridge. I like how the light brings out the green and bends round highlighting all the debris and the bird.

Scotland is a land of many bridges. I would like to see your photos of any bridge in Scotland, whether crossing firths, the sea, wee burns or rivers. They can be rail bridges, aqueducts, foot or road bridges, but the bridge must start and end in Scotland, so no cross border bridges please. Photos can be in black and white or colour.

Thank you for entering the Scottish bridges competition. Why is this a top 10 image? Black and white really works for this semi silhouette style. I think of the two on this bridge I like this one best. I can see more of the features of the bridge. The angle works well adding to some drama to the figures in the distance
