On first sight, this image went straight to the top of my selection for this competition. The composition, light, cloud movement and use of long exposure photography at 161 seconds makes for a stunning photograph and I can only imagine that the bigger the print gets the better the results will be. I would be very happy to have this image hanging on my wall. The idea of this competition was to showcase photographs that move people and this makes me feel calm. Congratulations and well deserved.

Such a beautiful photograph and the use of a 151 second shutter speed to soften the water and create this surreal effect works beautifully. The composition is spot on and there is some great depth due to the height that the photograph was taken at. I would love to be sitting in that chair now (I might turn it around and be looking at the sunset though). Thank you for entering this photograph and congratulations on 7th place.
Beautiful view and water movement, makes you feel as though you were there. Fantastic shutter speed to catch the interaction and movement of the water. I would probably have placed this shot higher in the competition if you were able to move maybe half a metre (possibly less) to your left and those two rocks below were funneling the water directly below the camera, this would give you a great leading line towards the mountain in the distance. Not having been there I understand that it may not have been possible for a number of reasons and this is only my own personal opinion. Absolutely beautiful shot though, well done and congratulations on 4th place..
Stunning photograph, it has that gorgeous leading line which beautifully twists and turns as it leads you towards the mountains in the distance. The light is beautiful and I honestly wouldn't hardly change a single thing in this photograph. Congratulations and this photograph and two others made my selection for the winner incredibly difficult. I really hope you have this image printed and hanging up on your wall.
Beautiful water movement in a stunning location, the coastal feel of this image with crashing waves and soft light coming from the buildings create a beautifully balanced photograph. The standard of entries was very high in this competition and you are a well deserved 8th place. Congratulations and well done. I hope you have this image hanging up on your wall.
I really like this photograph. It just works so well the portrait orientation and composition are spot on. 240 second of water movement all softened down to create this soft dream like effect in the water with a nice gentle bit of cloud movement also. Personally I really like this image, well done and congratulations on making the top 5.

Seascape photography can be both peaceful and powerful. We would like to see your best seascape photographs that highlight the water's movement. It can be black and white or colour, it can be calm and sedated, or menacing and moody – the choice is yours. The winning photograph will be the one that moves not only the water, but us also.
I have to say I like this photograph. There is a lot going on in it which is both good and bad. I would love to see this at maybe F4 and a longer focal length with the image centered more around the model. The impact of the model with the black dress and the white water roaring in just in front of her would make for a very powerful photograph. Well done on capturing the photograph though.
