This picture captures the atmosphere in this shopping arcade really excellently. The sparkly lights of the Christmas decorations, ceiling lamps and shiny surfaces are a great combination. The presence of just a few shoppers enhances the inviting feeling. Good capture.

This picture stood out for me because of its compostion and excellent use of black and white. This is a great example of how you can make beautiful photos of rather mondane locations you would easily walk past. The symmetry of the escalators has been brought out so well.

This picture just captures the essence of shopping malls: the seduction by the shop window and the desire that follows... Technically this photo is also very well done, with the shallow depth of field putting the focus on the fascinated lady in the foreground and leaving the bored men behind her blurred as contrast. Excellent work.

Of the many photos submitted showing shopping mall interiors, this picture stood out particularly for its excellent compostition. I love the contrasting structures and colours of the different layers in this shopping mall that have been brought out so well.

The photographer here has made realy good use of the geometric patterns on the floors. It is this great composition that makes this photo, including the angle at which the shop windows have been captured. The people rushing past at different levels adds to it as well. Very nice..

This is a great night time picture which brings out the opulence of the building and invites you to go inside. The different coloured lighting adds to the exotic feel of the building. Overall, really well excuted work. Well done.

A great bit of street photography in the shopping mall. Somehow the woman manages to mock the mannequins for being faceless, stiff and overdressed and yet some seem puzzled as to why she has suddenly become the boss. What a fun shot!

I don't know whether this was the intention but for me this photo is a social commentary on consumerism. The way the passers-by have been captured in front of an expensive store makes them look like robots, following fashion without thought, in this case the trend for shiny big brands. Great photo.

A famous mall which has been photographed many times but this photographer has done it in a way that really brings out the colour and splendour of the arcade. I love the contrast of the blue, geometric floor and ceiling with the yellow-brown ornate walls and shop windows. Great work.
