Brian's colourful shot of a chrysanthemum was a clear winner in this contest. He's really embraced the brief of photographing just one colour, and has done well to match the background of the still life setup to the flower itself. This winner is also a stunning example of a macro shot. The narrow aperture of f/32 captures the subject in exquisite detail, and the square composition lends itself to the circular shape of the flower. Well done Brian!

In this **Canon only** contest we want to see submissions where the main subject matter of the image is simply one colour - be it any colour at all. Maybe you want to capture a meadow in its most luscious shade of green, a building dominated by striking red bricks, a horizon with the mirroring blues of ocean and sky... the choices here are limitless – just make sure it's all about one colour and one colour only! **All entries must be taken with a Canon DSLR camera**, and you must also include a title and shooting information (i.e. camera, lens and exposure info), either in the info section or in the image's own exif data. Images without shooting information will not be considered.
