This image has potential but just hasn't quite reached it. Firstly a tighter crop would has made a more pleasing and abstract composition and removed the distracting tree on the right hand side of the frame. A touch of editing to help boost the colours would have given it that final touch. Next time look out for these things and you'll be onto a winner.

Great composition, good use of negative space. Strong contrast between the colour blue and yellow makes for a punchy image. The light and shade adds intrigue and mystery and the dynamic line from the spotlight gives the image lots of movement.

There is so much atmosphere and heaviness to this image that draws you in. The main composition is simple yet effective and the photographer has waited to get the plane in exactly the right position following the rule of thirds on this occasion. The sky is the key to it's success and the textured and gloomy clouds are simply perfect. Great work.

Beautiful range of tones in this monochrome photograph. Both the shadows and highlights have been rendered beautifully great example of the way black and white images work well to allow composition and light and shade to come to the forefront of the image making process.

A strong fashion image that makes great use of that little pop of red in the model’s shoes and lipstick. The industrial turquoise and teal colours and lines work in perfect harmony with the warmer natural colours and patterns of the animal print. A challenging image to make work due to all the lines, both vertical and horizontal, this has been executed neatly with everything in perfect alignment.
