Social distance

This is such a creative and well-executed shot. We love the simple reddish background, but also the interactions between the subjects in the windows. This was very well conceived and is a perfect example of how you can find creative images just about anywhere you look.

This is a beautiful portrait that is perfectly exposed. The photographer did well not to overexpose the highlights in the background with the darker wall and subject in the foreground. We love the use of black and white, and how you can tell, even with the mast, that the subject is smiling at the camera.

A beautifully shot portrait. We love the subtle background blur which provides just enough sharpness to give a sense of depth to the scene. It has a lot of the qualities of a classic portrait, and the woman's mask places it clearly in the present day.

A very interesting idea superbly executed.

We can't help but wonder how long you had to wait for someone to walk into the correct location and pose in a way that fits in with the background image. It's a well-spotted shot with excellent composition and perfect exposure.

One of the few alternative takes on the theme of social distancing. The zoom burst effect gives a sense of alarm, you can almost hear a klaxon sounding. It is, in essence, a fairly simple image but it conveys the message extremely well.
