Sports Horses in Action

Crikey, this shows action. The horse has twisted in the air kicking its legs out which has added a lot of impact to the image. Even the jockey is on the twist. The image is well composed, sharp and has great colours, tones and contrast. Well done.

WOW, this shows a high level of adrenalin. I love the colours and tones and how they work really well together. The image is beautifully sharp and well composed. For me the bars and signs in the background work. If you had excluded them the image would have looked lost as the bars are part of the area the sport is held in. Well done for a great image.

This is a lovely image. I like the expression on the rider's face as she descends the jump and the water splashes created by the horse's hooves entering the water. For me I like the grass edge to the foreground as it adds a little interest to the image in the same way the reeds to the left do. A great image, well done.

Though this is action on the flat you have managed to capture a lot of adrenalin and action to the image. I love the horses expressions and positions in the frame. I like how you have managed to capture the horses spread across the whole of the space in the image whilst keeping a small gap for them to turn into. A cracking image, well done.

WOW, I would not like to be on that horse! This is a high impact image that also tells a small story through the clock as it highlights the time the rider has to stay on for. Keeping it in also gives the image more intensity. This intensity is increased more as the poor rider is almost off as it is. The image works really well together, is well composed and pin sharp. WOW, that's high! This is a great image. I love the shape of the horse and how it seems to be about to take to the air as it adds a lot of adrenalin to the image. The rider is sharp and well positioned too. I like how he is only using one hand as the loose hand creates more interest. The back and foreground don't distract from the sport in action either.
