St. Patrick's Day

The Irish Youth. This photo captures the young enjoying their time contributing to the Saint Patrick's Day Parade through dancing the parade route through dancing the traditional Irish Dance. The Saint Patrick's Day Parade would be incomplete without the element of youth and the joy of the Traditional Irish Dance.

I chose this photo as the best as I love the composition, the colour, the contrast and tone. Everything about this photo grabbed my attention. The lighting gives great atmosphere and reflects the true nature of the famous Irish Pub.

Buildings turning green for Saint Patrick's Day. This shot is a shining example of the impression left by the Irish around the world. I am a huge fan of Night/Low Light Photography and I really like the way this building is caught reflecting in the water beside it.

This is a reat shot. This picture captures the atmosphere perfectly at an Irish Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Streets lined waiting in anticipation for the pageants, floats and marching bands. You can see that all vantage points are taken advantage of.

Love this photo. Timing was definitely on this photographers side with the way the bubbles are frozen in the shot. I think that the dramatic use of colours in this shot really makes the picture pop. Well done, well worth 2nd place.
