Most star filters have 4, 6, or 8 points. The numerous spikes on these starbursts are impressive. This is a beautiful example of the brief. The starbursts extend the entire cityscape. The lavender hue beneath the bridge is beautiful. Aesthetically, this was my favorite photo. The photo was taken before the sky was black, which enhances the picture. Thank you for sharing this great example.
The colourful reflections draw the viewer into the scene. The starbursts extend across the scene. The photo was taken when the sky was still illuminated. Bridges were popular places for the contest photos. The lens flares, which I usually do not like, actually enhance the sky unless you look directly at them. Thank you for contributing these fine starbursts.
This contest was not easy to judge because there are two types of starbursts. I chose the five best sunbursts and the five best star filter starbursts.
The sky, setting, colour, and extended rays of this photo make it extremely appealing. Composition and sharpness are great. Congratulations on your 1st Place award.

The rock formation, the lighting, and the composition make this entry intriguing. Without the lighting on the face of the arch, the photo would not be as dramatic. The placement of the sunburst is excellent. This is a sunrise photo, so I'm wondering if artificial light was used to illuminate the arch. Well done.

The starbursts can be created at the point of capture or an effect added in photo editing. Please only enter photos in colour. The opportunities are limitless so I hope you have fun with this contest.
