Built on the foundation of vintage objects and solid composition this photo was a good choice for conversion to an impressionist painting. Bold short brushstrokes and patches of bright color so reminiscent of the impressionistic style. Outstanding processing, well done and congratulations on being my number one selection
Perhaps not the expected setting for an impressionistic painting style but with the right composition and color for a foundation it works really well. The modeling of the knife and scones are outstanding. The knife handle in particular has a nice broken paint effect. The colors of the crusts make the scones look very tempting. The use of reds helps to pull the eye around the image. Excellent interpretation of the brief, well done and congratulations on being in my top ten selection

A nice free flowing composition with bold color accents makes this a very impressionistic interpretation. I like the random placements of the fruit and vegetables. The use of a analogous color palette ties the composition together and I like that light direction from the left gives form to the backdrop. Great interpretation of the brief and a worthy top ten place. Congratulations
Many people would pass by these watering cans thinking them not interesting enough to photograph. But given an impressionistic oil paint effect they turn into stars. The blue door becomes an amazing patchwork of color and the cans glow with splashes of red and yellow. Short brush strokes and color form a winning combination. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

This eye catching image stands out because of it's use of bold and complementary colors combined with excellent composition. The layout is very good. The contrast of the jug handle against blue and the red in the pears with the circling red rim of the board pulls it all together. The subtle but effective background adds a nice impressionistic touch. But perhaps the most striking aspect is the dry brush effect. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection
