Still Life of Books

Well done for making my top 10. I chose this image more for the thought process that I read into it. I love the idea that someone could have been reading it, layed down on the floor, and then saved the page to go back to it later. I love that there is nothing else in this image other than the book. I think the quality of your image could have been better, if so it may have ranked higher in my top 10. But the idea behind the image is great so Well done.

Congratulations of making my top 10. Out of all images of a collection of books, this was my favourite. I love how you have shot through the leaves. It really frames the photograph well. I also think that the diamond shapes add extra interest to the photograph. Well done.

Congratulations for making my top 10. I love that this image is so different. Especially because it is an image of the bible which you would not expect to see shot in such a way. The use of the blue light and red light works brilliantly. There is something quite demonic about the use of the red, and it almost creates a story to why there maybe a red light shinning upon a bible. I love it. Well done.

Congratulations on being 2nd place. This is a beautiful close up image of a book. I love the use of flowers, it makes me feel like the book is read in a field, or in the garden, giving that bliss moment of peace that you can get from reading a book. The sunlight also really adds something to this photograph too - it creates beautiful shadows and just reminds me of reading in summertime. Well Done.

Congratulations on 1st Place. I love this image. The lighting that is falling across the book is beautiful and I love the sepia colour to the photograph. This image feels very real life still life and that creates a much more interesting image in my eyes. Well done!
