This contest is for your still-life photos of one or more decorated eggs, but please no photos of people decorating the eggs. The eggs may be embellished with paint, jewels, lace or any other substance to enhance their beauty. Whether they are authentic Fabergé eggs, boiled eggs or egg forms such as styrofoam, they should be designed as a feast for the eyes and not for the palate. The eggs may be photographed in any setting, but the eggs must be decorated and be the focus of the image.
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
