A really unique shot of four musicians performing to a small audience in the rain. Three of them are playing the tuba or possibly a sousaphone, designed for marching bands. I love the rear view point creating this dynamic image. It's a really standout shot - always good to see photographs from a different perspective. Great work!

The composition is excellent, with warm, rich tones that add a vibrant authenticity to the scene. The musician has paused for a moment, smiling at the camera — a lovely moment, beautifully captured.

An accordion player on the streets of London performing to what feels like an audience of one - the photographer. It's a beautifully composed image which has a quiet intensity to it. I love all the separate elements of the photograph - the musician, the suitcase and the small change container, each playing their own part in this story. A great street shot - lovely work.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/photographer-community/">Leaderboard</a>.** Performing in public, for tips and the appreciation of the crowd, dates back to antiquity, and covers the full range of the performing arts, from acrobatics and music, to living statues and storytelling. There's usually action and excitement aplenty to be captured with the camera, and getting as close as possible to the performance will pay dividends. Your conscience might also incline you to chuck a bit of change in the hat as a thank you for the chance to take some snaps.
